Zed-Heads and Zee-Bots
Zed-Heads and Zee-Bots, and don’t forget Zomboids! These are three
zombie comedies, with lots of action and even romance,
all
of which
make use of my own patent-pending zombies – stupid, stupider and stupidest.
The series features an origin story, a contemporary tale, and a future story
of ever increasing chaos!
(The above is the FRANCHISE premise; for individual STORY loglines, view each of the three titles available in the links below) ► Dark Comedy (Rated R) ► Three ~100 page feature scripts (also formatted as six 60-minute TV-14 episodes) ► Three 3-4 page detailed synopses ► $5.9 to 50+ million budgets, approx. (see Financials, under Production Notes, below) ► © 2010-2015 These screenplays represent a series of (so far) three zombie comedies in which heroes comically fight off zed-heads originally created from a WWII Nazi experiment, only to have the zee-bots resurface in contemporary times, and ultimately to take humanity to the brink in a post-apocalypse:
Part 1:
Gandhi et al Versus Zombies
(105 pages; 3 page synopsis)
Logline: British Intelligence recruits Gandhi and friends for a mission to Occupied Europe in late WWII, where they uncover a Nazi plot to turn the tide of the war using monsters. Winner (Gangtok International Film Festival)
Part 2:
Dumbheadz
(96 pages; 4 page synopsis)
Logline: A teenage supermarket clerk, his slacker co-workers, and their incredibly cantankerous supervisor battle a horde of zombies that invade the store. Quarter-Finalist (Boston Horror Comedy Film Festival)
Part 3:
The Ugly Dude
(109 pages; 4 page synopsis)
Logline: In a zombie pandemic, a dude with serious kung fu skills searches for refuge in a quest made all the more lonely because he's so ugly that his fellow survivors think he's a zombie, and the Undead know he's not. Winner (Mountain View International Film Festival) Note: The first 10 pages of each screenplay can be viewed by clicking the large image on the top left of each of the three individual project pages, above Production Notes: Note that Parts 2 and 3, in addition to being part of this original zomedy franchise, are sequel-ready for their own series of stories! Production Method: We recommend starting small, with Part 2 ("Dumbheadz"), then using the proceeds from that release to produce Part 1 and Part 3. Scheduling: Part 2 has been fully scheduled (preview of most common report, the Strip Board, for Part 1 is here). The original dates are easily updated. Financials: Part 2 has been fully costed-out at $5.9 million USD, total; budget top sheet available here, with full budget available upon request. The net total budget necessary for part 2 would be just over $4 million after the application of expected tax incentives of 30-40%. Also, sales forecasts for part 2 (based on films of a similar-budget over the past 7 years) can be viewed here. Fundraising is active and ongoing. Here's what one Indie producer is doing:” “Dumbheadz”, from an upcoming franchise “Zed-Heads and Zee-Bots”
